Personalize Piggy Banks!
Love Love Love these. My kids are running all over the house gathering all the loose change. I told them they can keep whatever they find. I can't believe how much these hold! Maybe I should of thought about that one :)
So, I had to make a Mad Money one for Mommy. The kids asked what mad money was, and I told them it was an emergency stash for all the things we wanna buy, that we shouldn't. Like candy, or Brighton!! (My happy place) Anyway... I decided to look up the meaning of mad money. Thought this was cute:
Apparently "mad money" was "noted as early as 1922 by Howard J. Savage (Dialect Notes 5: 148) at the end of an article on Bryn Mawr slang. Savage's definition is 'money a girl carries in case she has a row with her escort and wishes to go home alone.' "
I like to think of it as a new pair of shoes! :) What's your mad money for?
Had to do a Baseball one for Jack, he just started playing baseball.
This set comes with 3 sizes: 4x4, 5x6,6x7 All three sizes done in one hooping, with no additonal sewing. PDF instructions included with pictures.
I've had a love of questions about how to get the money out once you fill up your piggy. You can add velcro to the opening, which is along his tummy, sew it closed, (you can get the money back out of the slot you put it in) or use steam a seam. With steam a seam, it is sealed closed, and will open back up with the touch of an iron.
This little piggy could also be for Laundry Money, Funny Money, Swear Piggy, (you have to pay the piggy everytime you say a bad word) Vacation Money, Gas Money, Hopes & Dreams, Bingo Money.
A set of 3: Give, Save, Live.
Love this last one. Might just have to do it. :)
